A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words – CAPS Video Highlight

Fourth grade students at Sandy Ridge Visual & Performing Arts school participated in a 4-day photography and writing residency with CAPS artist Megan Oteri. Students learned digital photography basics and discussed the evolution of camera technology – past to present. Many students saw a Polaroid camera for the first time! Equipped with digital cameras, students spent time taking photos on the school grounds. After which, students selected one of their favorite photos and wrote stories.
