Flamenco Carolina is based in Durham NC. We teach and organize workshops in Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and Greensboro and perform throughout the State. Flamenco is a form of Spanish folk music and dance from the region of Andalusia in southern Spain. Learn about the cultural and historical influences of the Spanish dance style, Flamenco. Guitar, clapping rhythms and traditional songs accompany Flamenco dancers in Spanish costume. Flamenco Carolina offers workshops and performances for grades K – 12, after-schools,libraries, and other community programs.
