A native of Durham, NC, she grew up attending the summer arts programs offered at the Durham Arts Council. Through these classes she was able to express her stories through various mediums, but video and film would be her favorites. In 2008, she graduated with a B.A. in film and video production from UNC-Greensboro. Today, she is completing a M.F.A. in dramatic writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her screenplay, Amnesty, has been featured in several film festivals. BOOK NEENA RAMSEY
