Mimi HermanMimi Herman has taught over 25,000 teachers and students to fall in love with writing and integrate the arts across the curriculum. The Geography of Your Life

Your students will fall in love with social studies as they design maps of their own lives. This residency works equally well to explore the lives of historical figures or characters from books! 45-60 minutes per class/session.

Max Participants: 30

Arrive in America in 1901 with dreams and a steamer trunk, and discover how to live in a new country without losing your own culture. As we immigrate, we’ll integrate, bringing history to life through poetry and drama.
