NYSSA COLLINS

Nyssa Collins is a Durham-based artist, musician, and teaching artist.  She has worked as a studio artist and performer with Paperhand Puppet Intervention since 2017, and has a background in classical piano.  She has led workshops in cardboard sculpting, mask-making, and shadow puppetry, and loves using art to explore stories and ideas.

Ecology Illumination!

The magic of the natural world comes to life through shadow and light! Students apply ecology research to devising, creating, and performing delightful shadow puppet shows all about earth’s beautiful diversity. 3 days minimum needed for residency. Residency Lesson Plan
