The nationally touring and award-winning production company of EbzB Productions’ performances and residencies are available to grades 3-12 (and above) upon request and with required joint planning with faculty. Endorsed by numerous state & local arts councils, EbzB’s work has been seen by millions internationally either via broadcast or in live theatrical performances at venues from coast to coast. The company has trained with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Artists as Educators Program & the Lincoln Center Institute’s International Educator Program to conduct workshops in arts integration. EbzB Productions has established a solid reputation for its work with middle & high school classes to create historical narrative based on classroom oral history projects as well as specifically tailored residencies & workshops. EbzB Historical Narrative & Oral History Project
At this time, EbzB’s CAPS programs are tailored specifically with each school and the school’s faculty through a needs assessment. A particular emphasis is placed on extended residencies that usually range from seven to ten school days in duration, but that also often evolve and develop in correlation with already established faculty lesson plans over the course of the entire academic school year. This specific program is coordinated with the CAPS Director at the Durham Arts Council.
Special Requirements: climate controlled space, clear working space with access to standard electrical service (appropriate seating available if deemed necessary by both teaching artists and school staff); technical riders provided upon request.
Maximum Participants: Performance: 300-500 /Residency: 15- 75
Duration: Performance: 50 minutes/ Residency: 50-90 minutes per session (7-10 days)
