Trent Arterberry


Trent Arterberry has performed everywhere, from New York’s Radio City Music Hall to the grand ballroom of the QE2 luxury liner. He was named the college campus Performing Artist of the Year, and been selected for the Western States Arts Foundation’s performing artists roster, among many others. A student of Marcel Marceau, Arterberry has given over 6,000 performances across all 50 states. He tours three different educational, one-man shows, as well as being one-half of the nationally touring production Super Scientific Circus. Also an active director, Arterberry just staged a production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night performed by ten- and eleven-year-olds. REQUEST TRENT ARTERBERRY

My Impractical Life

Very funny and conveying a powerful message for students, this show of mime and monologue tells the story of how Trent Arterberry chose a career in the arts. Following terrain familiar to any teenager, Arterberry overcomes parental expectations, peer pressure and technological distraction as he ultimately learns to follow his heart. An extensive study-guide provides tie-ins and graphic organizers for Language Arts, Drama and Career-Awareness curricula. The show ends with a hilarious audience participation segment.

Special Requirements: I require a 12 foot by 20 foot performing area, one table, one empty A/V cart.

Think Bigg

Think Bigg blends mime, storytelling and audience participation into a hilarious show of stories and characters. In short episodes as a robot, a pilot, a firefighter, a secret agent and a puppet named Mr. Bigg, Arterberry fascinates and involves his young audience. Kids participate both onstage and in their seats. The show supports Theatre and Language Arts curricula around non-verbal expression, improvisation and interpreting key details from information presented orally and through other media.
