Dawn Hummer

I have taught within the Public School System for 11 years and administratively for several years, in 4 states. I hold both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Special Education. I have taught at the elementary school level as a district-wide demonstration classroom for research-based instructional practices within the field. I currently own my own art studio, as well as travel, teaching weaving as a historical/artful medium to persons of ALL ABILITIES! REQUEST DAWN HUMMER

Introduction to Creative Weaving

Direct hands-on experimentation and expression, with weaving on table looms. Each student will work with a variety of plant/animal/man made fibers to express themselves through woven art. History of weaving talked about during weaving process. Workshop Lesson Plan

Max Participants: 12, flexible

Duration: 60 minutes

Special Requirements: Tables and Chairs for each student (4 per table)

Fee: $150.00 per class/hr.
