Maria Geary – Relaxing In Art
“After a 30-year career spanning everything from emergency dispatcher to project manager, self-taught Mixed Media and Textile Artist Maria Geary has answered the call to create. A very early riser, she uses the still of the morning for working in her journal and to plan the day ahead.
Her passion for mixed media has allowed her to teach fun workshops at the Scrap Exchange in Durham, (NC) and other places in the Triangle Area.” ARTS-CURRICULUM INTEGRATION: (VISUAL ART) (MIXED MEDIA) (HEALTHY LIVING) (LANGUAGE ARTS)
